- What counts as a consent?
- One stored decision per visitor per site. Return visits that reuse a stored decision are free.
- How does the AI scan work?
- Katla crawls your site headlessly, records every cookie your pages set, then classifies each by purpose and provider with a confidence score. You approve or override any call from the dashboard.
- Can I self-host?
- The parts that run in your visitors' browsers, yes - serve the widget bundle or the headless guard from your own domain and nothing is fetched from us at page load. Scanning, classification, policy generation and consent storage run on Katla; those are the service.
- Can I change plans later?
- Any time, in the dashboard or from the CLI. Changes are prorated, and downgrading keeps every consent record you have already collected.
